Some Etched Birds

The birds below are done using a very small brush and thinned out tar painted directly onto copper, brass, or nickle-silver. I often do a drawing and then convert it/etch photographically, but these are all done one at a time and quite quickly. On the jewelry class site you can see the process.  It's pretty easy and I teach it in my regular class and as a workshop item.
When I was younger I used to practice sumi painting with ink and these are directly pulled from that experience and my interest in birds.  All of the pins are postage stamp in size and not bigger than 1.5 inches in any dimension.
They are all $20.00 each, shipping is included, and come in a small cloth gift bag.  If you checkout experience is anything less than perfect please let me know.  miketayse@gmail.com
